Until recently I only accepted email signups for my users. I had the "confirm email" ticked in the settings so new users had to confirm their email before their account was created and I put their email on a newsletter list (opt-in).
Now I added a custom SSO provider. This works, but the whole flow is interrupted because users have to confirm their email first. I would like to disable this for these users because the SSO provider already had them confirm their email. I don't want them to have to do this again.
Currently I can only disable/enable this for every signup. I disabled it for now for everyone to have a flawlessly working SSO signup flow. But this is not how we want to handle new users signing up with just an email+pw.
Please add an option to distinguish between classic signup and SSO signup for the "confirm email" switch.
Thanks a lot!
The user wants to disable email confirmation for users signing up via a custom SSO provider, as the SSO provider already verifies emails. They currently have to disable email confirmation for all signups, which is not ideal for email+password signups. They request an option to differentiate between classic and SSO signups for email confirmation settings.
