My Supabase project currently shows an upgrade available.

Current versions:

Auth: 2.187.0
PostgREST: 12.2.3
Postgres: 15.8

It is showing an upgrade is available to Postgres 17.6.

Before upgrading, I wanted to check with the:

Did anyone face breaking changes or issues upgrading from Postgres 15 → 17 on?
Any extensions or features that commonly break after upgrading?
Any performance improvements or downsides you noticed after the upgrade?
Is the upgrade generally safe for production projects, or better to wait?

TLDR: Is upgrading to Postgres 17 on Supabase safe for a production app?

Would appreciate hearing real experiences before proceeding.
